It has been many months since I have updated here on deviantart, although it is not because I have stopped creating. For some reason I just simply no longer felt the need to post what I have learned and created here.

We are now entering 2009, another year, and another opportunity for us to create and express ourselves to the world whether we are looking for criticism to improve or to achieve the praise that we all want from the world for our work. Some work harder than others, and some do not get the praise they want. However, the world does not give us what we want. Often times instead we get what we need. The two may sometimes be polar opposites, but we should nonetheless accept it as what we have.

As we grow older the years begin to blur, and the passage of time may begin to lose its worth. However, we should never forget what we have gotten over the course of our years, otherwise we will forget, and be forced to try and get it again. Our lives should not be lived in loops, when we can instead use that time to continue exploring and learning new things about ourselves and the world around us. Otherwise, how can we improve?

2008 was a revolutionary year with new technologies, movies, video games, and so much more. In 2009 many of us in the United States hope to also see the beginnings of a revolution in politics. Whatever your beliefs and opinions on how the countries of the world are being run and who they are being run by, we should always strive to not only better the way we live our own personal lives, but also the way the people around us live.

2008 was a year of opportunity, this year will be no different, and neither will the next. The question is, how have you used this year? And how will you use the next?
